Mend Hunger and The National Celiac Association have partnered to provide the nation's only gluten free disaster relief program. Our rapid response model allows us to deliver no-cost celiac-safe hunger relief boxes to households anywhere the need arises.

about the program

We provide celiac-safe food at no-cost to households seeking assistance as a result of a disaster situation. Disasters include, but are not limited to: tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms, severe storms, flooding, wildfires, mud slides, gas explosions, acts of terror, sudden environmental pollution, and acts of war. ​

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

I live in New Orleans and evacuated to Florida from Hurricane Ida. We are hoping to be able to go back home in the next couple of days, but I cannot afford to replace the foods I lost by losing power, and I'm not sure how much food will be available for us to have over the next few weeks to months of recovery.
Mend Hunger helped us get foods that we could not get access too and still do not have much access to after the storm. I really appreciate this bod and it has helped me and my family significantly. Thank you so much.
